In July 2016, Pastor Brown was called to serve her first appointment at Community UMC located in Laurel, MD.  She feels blessed to have this opportunity to serve God’s people and the community. She graduated from Wesley Theological Seminary in May 2016 with a Master of Divinity Degree.  She has interest in the following ministry areas:  Pastoral Care and Counseling; Christian Education; and Christian Spiritual Formation.  She also has gifts in the areas of preaching, teaching, prayer, communication, and compassion. 

Pastor Brown has been married to Angelo Brown for over 20 years.  By their union, they have been blessed by a beautiful daughter, Angela Jewel, who is college student.  She is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. James Lloyd Jr. of Oxford, NC.  Caprice is a wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend who has a passion for God.  She has a heart for the things of Christ and a heart for all people.
